Still 35 where I am. I can see rain in the distance but it often bypasses us, so we will see.
This is tracking straight for us which, if it hits, will help the newly laid grass in the backyard.
Any time this supposed cool change wants to get here would be good. All we’ve had is a brief shower around 5.15 and it’s now farking revolting.
If I wanted this humid crap I’d go live in Queensland…
You gonna move in with Dmaples?
Or Lawry?
He doesn’t live in QLD???
Or is that a joke of some kind?
I thought he did?
Nah lives in Melbourne. I think he travels a bit for work though.

Rain…no rain here…Tasmania, fires going wild on the natural West Coast, thats why no one live there
We had a decent storm last night 8:30pm), then again at around 7:30am this morning. We had a lazy 38mm in about an hour this morning. A real tropical downpour. Then it was sunny again just after lunch and about 30c (not too humid).
It has been a humid summer overall up here though.
It was pretty wet in Sydney on Monday. This image was taken not far from where I live. We’ve had some extremely wild weather at times this summer.
Summer weather stinks on so many levels. And people complain about winter. Ugh.
Hottest city on the planet Wednesday, LIV Golf moved to Feb to avoid rain and starts today.
It’s 23 and drizzling
I’m going today and should clear up by time Dom Dolla fires up
We were in Sydney last Saturday night, at a pub in Richmond for a family birthday. The rain came down about 10 pm and it was so loud on the tin roof than you could not hear the music or anyone talking. Though it could have been the $4 vodka shots pounding inside my head.
At my home, the sound of the crickets ramped up to full volume after the rain.
Cyclone Zelia- category 5 (as high as it goes) not far off landfall in WA. Looks like Port Hedland will be spared the worst of it, but it will cause some serious damage with heavy rains and winds close to 300kph as it hits the coast.
I miss that.
That storm petered out before it got to us in the inner-west. Monday was a different story though.
Has crossed the coast and is far enough away from Port Hedland to avoid most of the worst of the destructive winds.
