It’s not looking super accurate right now.
This isn’t an easy system to predict. Most of moisture will be west and north east of the city.
I felt that this system would only bring showers rather than sustained rain during the period of the game.

Seems like the meteorologists predicting that the largest downpour will be in the evening will be correct.

We ran out of water again yesterday. Rang the water cartage fella. His trucks broken. So I had to go to the park with the food grade jerry cans to fill up. Not sure when we’ll get water next.
The water cartage fella told me April last year he did about 30 deliveries. This April he’s done 300.
Im a bit tired of it to be honest.

How saline is your groundwater?
At the risk of sounding dumb…huh?
If you have drag groundwater (say less then 1000 ppm, and ideally even lower), you could put in a bore if the ground at the water table might allow production (sands/fractured rock etc).

That sounds far above my capabilities and understanding. But I appreciate the advice.
Mirboo North is forcast a bit this week. And the cartage truck should be on the road by monday. We’ll be ok.
But man, it’s gotta start raining soon. We’re pretty much a month away from winter and the joint is dry as a chip.

We’re on the Sunshine Coast and have had over 200mm rain since 9am yesterday. 
Headed off this morning - full wet gear- on a motorcycle weekend club ride 
Had to turn back once due to flooding.
Clear now…
for the next few days.
(At least it’s not cold )
…passed a guy and his wife & kid in full Bombers ANZAC day kit, and Essendon umbrella. We shouted Go Bombers as we rode past…it’s always good to find a supporter up here.

Seems like the worst of it is going to hit the Western Suburbs from what I can see
Shows the benefit of using the 5-day forecast as a basis of selecting the team.
But then, not surprising for those predicting a re-enactment of the 2002 game.
