I stayed in my apartment and never heard a thing all day long - Think my part of HK got off lightly while a colleagues house near the beach was severely damaged, while the two glass door entrances at my workplace were blown away.

Rain is also called precipitation. Technically, it’s one form of precipitation. Other forms include snow, sleet, hail, drizzle, but we can’t talk about those forms in this thread.
That’s right. Only one form of said precipitation is acceptable.
