Sooo good.
I could write down 100
Only just started the 30 for 30 podcast. The Stirling Affairs is a ripper, I only sort off remembered the story from when it happened
Listening to The Dollop is now a daily thing for me. Gonna run low on episodes soon.
The War on Squirrels is a bloody good laugh
Wells Fargo…not so funny
From Now - only one episode in but intriguing.
I can’t believe reply all got “cancelled”. I was really getting into that too.
Apparently QCODE are renowned for making podcasts that finish with no clear ending. Someone said they make pitches for TV shows and if the idea gets picked up then they just stop producing the podcast.
I think the one above has been picked up as a TV show but the comments are all about the podcast.
Was meant to see the Dollop 2 days ago…stupid Rona. Been pushed out till April
Thanks to this thread turning me onto the Dollop. I have been obsessed since. Nearly heard them all in 1 year
I’m listening to an Audible podcast from Michael Connelly (Bosch, Lincoln Lawyer) called the Wonderland Murders. 4 people were beaten to death in a bloody mess in Wonderland Ave, LA, a short way from Sunset, in 1981.
Key figures were Scott Thorsen, the character played by Matt Damon in Behind the Candelabra who was “adopted” by Liberace, and the rather infamous John Holmes.
One of the guys that does that pod, Adam Collins also does The Final Word with Geoff Lemon who wrote a book about the sand paper. The two of them also took out a loan and brought radio rights to Australia vs Pakistan in the UAE post the sand paper saga. The pod is very much a haven for cricket nerds but I find it enjoyable on a long walk.
That greatest season that was podcast has also done a series about the 91 finals series/grand final. Has some good interviews including Dennis Cometti and Ross Oakley, who tells a story about Lionel Rose falling out of a convertible before the pre game motorcade.
#1728 - Joe Rogan. Just 4 dudes getting drunk and talking rubbish. Was a great watch
Saw Tony Hinchcliffe and Redban on Joe Rogan, so thought id check out Kill Tony. Holy ■■■■ what a great show they have going on. New/Old Comedians doing 1 minute sets and then the crew just roast the hell out of them
Sweet bobby.
Holy Mary mother of God what a ■■■■■■■ ride this podcast is.
@bomber_girl listen to this in iso
Cheers just reading about it now. Reminds me of this case:
Which one?
PS Don’t worry - I’m an idiot.
Finished Sweet Bobby.
Sweet Jesus - what a psycho
Bourke and Wills one is worth a listen for anyone that grew up learning about ‘Australian history’.
