Maybe yours is smarter than ours. We have an ECOVAC something or other.
That was me.
Mine is still going well too.
Roomba vacs are the best
Got it cheaper from the USA
Other brands are so well priced
Use the app
Make sure no cords on the floor
This looks to be on sale atm. I need a new vacuum!
Seen some hope or story pics of robot vacs flr people that have puppies. If the dog takes a crap on the hardwood floor you might have to burn the house down
Thanks for the tip. Got one of these delivered, unpacked and setup in minutes. Now have Bluetooth in my home gym
If looking at one, there a very similar ones on eBay that have a power on/off button. This one doesnāt, so I just had to unplug the power cable. Cheers!
Cool man! Thatās great!!!
Did we do robot vacuums already?
Want the best bang for buck, maybe can mop, only hardwood floor use.
How about robotic lawn mowers?
Anyone tried one of them?. Iāve got a 20-25 degree slope on the front lawn. Maybe 100 sqm out the front and 180sqm out the back. Minimal obstruction.
Scroll up about 6 posts.
Iāve found them useless, others have had better experiences.
Yeah I think for a about $50 Iād have a years supply of cleaning products, new mop etc, and get it done in half the time. Around chairs, step, and no way itās getting to the corners. Plus gotta find a spot to charge and store it.
(Wife wants one thoā¦)
Ours was only about 300 ish but that was on sale, normally 500.
It worked ok at the last house, had bigger flat spaces and we had different chairs - it gets stuck under the chairs we have now
Iāve seen you YouTubes on lawns far, far steeper than mine. Itās about a 1 in 8 gradient, and I canāt be bothered working out my sines and cosines.
TVs. What do you reckon?
Iām in the market for a new box. Have only had hand me downs and am done with the current plasma and set top box operation.
I want:
- 55 inch
- good colours (the Essendon jumper should look truly red and black)
- no blurring up juddering when the ball moves through the air
- built in apps for Kayo, iview, SBS, Netflix
- acceptable sound (canāt be stuffed with a sound bar
- easy to use remote and interface etc
Weāre in no way tech nerds. We donāt game, we donāt blu ray or DVD. Basically watch normal sports, streaming platforms and free to air TV.
At first I thought Iād give this Samsung Q70A a go (can get a bit of a discount from a mate): 55ā Q70A QLED 4K Smart TV QA55Q70AAWXXY | Samsung AU
But this Hisense A7G UHD 4K seems quite similar but a lot cheaper: 55" UHD 4K TV Series A7G - Hisense Australia
Is Hisense actually good? Is Samsung overpriced? What would you recommend for a TV that is good but not the top of the line?
Buy whatever you think looks best, but 1) make sure you can turn off all the adware/spyware in the menus and 2) have a good play with the menus in the shop.
ā ā ā ā ā ā , or super slow menus can really make it a painful experience.
Whatās your budget?
55inch is āsmallā these days, so not a bid size, but 65 isnāt too big if you canāt fit it into the room and budget.
Sound is going to be one issue in you shopping list. In order to make the panels thin and sexy, the speakers are tiny and frankly i donāt think you will enjoy the full experience anywhere near what you should.
ch7 affects this more than anything
Currently have a 43inch which feels big as it is, so I figured a 55 should be alright.
Have speakers for generally better or worse than 2000s? The speakers in my current TV I find absolutely fine. But it is a thicker unit than the current day TVs.
Budget up to $1,500, which is what I can get the Samsung Q70A 55inch for. I could spend a touch more, but I donāt want to because TV is not something that gives me great joy or I use all the time.
This is what I have now: Samsung PS42Q7HD review: Samsung PS42Q7HD - CNET
Is that the channel 7 cameras or the way they broadcast it? If I stream via Kayo instead of watching on 7 normal TV will it be better?
