Of out interested did you get the motorised version?

I considered it but went the traditional pull. I have a lot of my home automated but that was one step too far for mrs teebee.

Will give these guys a go. After some honeycomb blinds, price looks very good (maybe too good…)

How’s the quality?

Happy with our roman blinds so far. They take a fair beating too, they pass closely between the window and a couch (couch cushion slightly higher than the window sill) which has them sometimes squeezing through on opening and closing. Not sure if that makes sense.

The material has a nice gauge to them, doesn’t feel cheap although probably are. The pulley system also feels solid, you can give a good yank without worrying it could break.

I’m looking to replace 18 year old roman blinds, so hopefully you’ll get just a long with yours!

I want to recommend this as well if anyone was interested in a portable projector. I picked one up in Japan and it’s unreal. Won’t replace your 100" projector but you get a really good 60" screen with nice brightness. Was under $1k though. Bit exxy here. Sold under Anker brand in Japan.

I ordered a few the other day. All coming from Vietnam. So maybe that joke post turns out to be true!

Mine all arrived a couple of weeks ago. Installation was nice and easy. Motors are good and are easy to recharge (haven’t recharged yet). Bluetooth is poor. Basically use the app to set what you need once (max up and max down, any timers for auto open / close), then for any changes rely on the remote.

Mine arrived.

Colour of frame didn’t really match the images. Online looked black, its anthracite which is close to colorbond monument (dark grey).

Installation was pretty easy with 2 people.

Mrs THT raving about how awesome they are.

$800 installed Vs $3,200 from a Melbourne based company.

Can recommend.

Blitz delivers AGAIN!!

Pffft, two people. I got twice the beers.

Were yours from Vietnam as well? Fedex?

I think they were from China to Melbourne then over to my place.

But can’t be sure. Definitely made off shore.

There was a few bits that hadn’t handled the travel well, but not worth complaining.

Wife still raving about them.

When buying a new telly, how do you know if footy will look good on it?

In the market for something new but often when I watch the footy at someone else’s on a newer telly, it looks ■■■■. Like the ball doesn’t move smoothly through the air and even though the picture quality is awesome, at the same time it feels kind of blurry. If you know what I mean.

That’s always when streaming, so maybe it’s the app, but I have NFI.

Any tips?

I think the AFL STILL TELECAST IN SDit usually looks trash
