At the movies - From the couch

This was really good. (Aside from the usual BS Hollywood stuff).

Suspense. Cinematography. Action. We’re all on point.

8/10 def worth a look.

Gyllenhaal has an interesting voice. Only thing that comes close is Kip from Napoleon Dynamite.

Looks like I’m gonna have to drag my lazy ar*e down to the cinema to watch this.

Art the Clown is right up there with Jason Voorhees, Freddy Krueger & Michael Myers as horror movie antagonists.

We’ve been watching a horror show on continuous for 20 years with the EFC.

1 gory horror movie is a romcom by comparison

Some horror movies have some sort of happy ending…WHERE THE HELL IS OURS?
.

EFC is the sort of horror movie where it ends when you think there’s finally hope and a light on the horizon, only to realise that there’s another 20 sequels with exactly the same plot coming right along after.

Why would you watch that crap?? It’s made for morons.

Just watch ISIS beheadings online, if you’re so desperate.

As I said I don’t watch these type of movies I think they are crap too just wanted to see what all the fuss it about.

And then the added bonus of sub plot horror stories, like Sunday 4.40pm at Marvel against an interstate team and/or bottom placed teams.

And everyone knows that, generally, each sequel gets a little worse

I was late to this movie because every time I went to the video shop (remember them) the cover looked like a bad horror movie. Anyway I went to the cinema to see the directors cut years later and absolutely loved this movie. My biggest memory is when the credits started rolling the young girls behind me both sopping uncontrollably. I personally didnt think the ending was that sad but it was cool that it touched them so deeply.

Oh man that made me laugh

We watched Cruel Intentions this afternoon on what is supposed to be its 25th anniversary since release.

Watched it when it was released but it’s been a while, not really my genre, but… appreciated it more this time. Especially with one of the better endings in movie history with arguably one of the best soundtrack to finish it off.

Most would have probably seen it already but don’t watch if you don’t appreciate spoilers:

Watched this and he was very very good. Obviously his physical preparation and transformation was a great start, but he came across as the character he needed to be, and spoke as if he’d had too many shots to the head.

Only downside is the Hollywood approach to having the ringside announcer tell you exactly what you need to know is happening.

8/10 worth a look.
