The Dark Knight Rises for mine.

I haven’t seen a Nolan movie that I haven’t thoroughly enjoyed.

Goodfellas was on TV last night. I haven’t watched it in a couple of years, so my palette has been cleansed a bit, so to speak.

It’s a bit of a cliche to rate this movie as one of the best of all time, but it simply is. The first half hour or so right up to the end of the ‘funny how’ scene is in my mind some of the greatest cinema ever created.

The scene with Scorsese’s mother showing the lads her painting of the dogs is also perfectly dark, hilarious and utterly relatable at the same time. Best scene of the movie.

The 90s was the absolute pinnacle of film making IMO.

Some great movies were made between the 50s and 70s imo.

The 80s everything went a bit commercial and too many films aimed at teens and popcorn flix with the rise of the multiplex.

The 90s had a bit of a throwback when the economy tanked… And yeah your right some of my fav flicks were created then.

Goodfellas is a great gangster movie, The Godfather set the scene for it.

Not sure how I missed this movie, but watching it I nearly wanted to turn it off, just to being shocked, set in early Tasmania, a young irish girls struggle against the establishment at the time, just watch the movie.

Warning not for the faint hearted.

Reckon you will like it, scarring but real

I’m sure I would like it, but I don’t have Apple TV.

Do you want piracy?
