Ok so Iā€™m going to get flamed for this, but I think the Marvel movies suck. Boring, predictable, cgi heavy popcorn nonsense.

I have one exception - I thought that Guardians was a really great movie, and I didnā€™t hate Iron Man 1 until the last half hour. Other than that though, the rest can ead.

Liked Iron Man 1.
Not enough to see 2 or 3 (or 4?).
Liked The Avengers, even though it was really, really stupid, but not enough to see Age of Ultron.
Watched Guardians of the Galaxy because everyone went nuts about it. Liked it a t the time, but as more time passed I realised that too was really, really stupid. I could watch a sequel to that but not at the cinema.
I really enjoyed Deadpool.
I think Iā€™ve watched half of a Capt. America movie.

Off to see Zootopia tonight with some young guns from work, at a new local cineplex. Heard from one already that it was v good. Any other views? l will post mine later.

I donā€™t think they aspire to be anything deep ā€“ which wasnā€™t a problem at first ā€“ but as the universe expands itā€™s becoming more annoying that nothingā€™s ever at stake. Age of Ultron suffered terribly in that regard.

I donā€™t think they need RDJ anymore. They are expanding the catalog of characters very quickly and they need to explore them more than they need to explore Iran Man again. I think most fans out there are going to see Marvel movies for the comic characters and not the stars behind them.

I for one donā€™t need to keep seeing RDJ in every Marvel movie. I want to see Vision explored further ( he can replace Iron Man ). Marvel would be saving themselves 30+mill by killing him off anyway. Thatā€™s more money for them

I agree, but I donā€™t think they necessarily even need to be deep to be good movies. Iā€™m all for a good trashy superhero movie where thereā€™s no deep meaning (hence my like for Guardians).

Um, if you like cloverfield i think you will be intrigued by this( i really dont want to spoil it for anyone) but it is definately not a sequel. Abrams described it best when he said its a blood relative.

I loved Guardians. Liked one of the Iron Man ones, and Winter Solider. The rest Iā€™m pretty ambivalent about.

I liked the bits where Natalie Portman was doing stuff

Just back from Zootopia. A solid 8 / 10 from me. Very few kids in the audience, but the theatre was rocking from laughter most of the time. The kids will love, but the little ones might find a few scenes a bit scary. There were four of us and we all loved it. Usually l am not a great fan of the songs in such movies, but this one had a couple at either end of the movie, and they were more than passable.

I think if they gave Vision his own movie, that could quite possibly be the least interesting movie ever.

Itā€™s a good opportunity to show them all running at each other and cutting away at the last second.

When I saw the Spidey outfit I thought that looks more like the old school comics. Not that Iā€™ve ever read them, just seen a picture here and there.
