Spielberg is my all time favourite, but Nolan is catching up very fast
The thing is. I just didnāt enjoy most of their movies which for me make them over rated.

Titanic is an astounding movie. Cinema peaked with it.
re Spielberg, his movies are fine and certainly are some of the best of his time, but he really should have stopped 15 years ago. Heās a relic.
Iāve never really been a fan of Spielberg. Jaws is pretty good, but the others are all too full of Hollywood schmaltz for me. I stopped watching them quite a while ago.
James Cameron is very good at what he does, which is make mega-budget movies.

Firstly. Kubrick IS the best ever.
Secondly. I donāt recall anyone saying that Villeneuve is the best ever. We were discussing him joining the best ever conversation which would have a further 100 Directors in it including the ones you nominated.
You donāt need to be so touchy about other peoples opinions on movies
