Which part of “safe space” is unclear?
BE SAFE.

BE SAFE.
Large number of Australians emphatically declaring Australia as “the best country on earth!” … and will not tolerate any sort of debate on it.
Yet are usually the ones who have never actually gone overseas.
Also briefly played NRL (or maybe the old first grade).
I haven’t watched that show because it’s Australian and not on the ABC or SBS, which is normally a sure sign of absolute shittery, yet I have read a lot of reviews claiming it’s quite good. Even from non-Australian sources.
Is it kind of not ■■■■ and worth a look?
It’s awesome. Do it.
Are.
You.
Farking.
Kidding me.
It is S tier.
Up there with Breaking Bad and The Wire and anything else you care to name. It’s not on ABC or SBS because it’s indie AF.
Stop hurting yourself. Start right now.
So I’m sensing that there’s mixed opinions.
Wim already gave the correct answer, but I wanted to reiterate because it’s just that good.
I held off for a while because I generally don’t like Aussie shows, but it’s easily top 3 for me.
The use of over the top adjectives (to gain clicks) in modern media.

“go you good thing”.
This phrase alone almost makes me wish australia had more lax gun laws.
Until Daniel Riccardo did it, I’d never heard of it nor seen anyone do it. And I’m a degenerate that purposely goes out of my way to drink at the worst pubs possible.
It’s ■■■■■■■ disgusting and makes me almost retch when i see it. That it’s something we’re somehow renowned for is embarrassing, ‘oh those silly crazy carefree little Australians, haha, give us your resources and we’ll sell them back to you, hahaa’. Farking shoeys
We were doing a version of it at one of my footy clubs back in the late 80’s.
Our footy club rooms had these rafters and guys who made their A grade debut or special milestones had to hang upside down and do skol a beer out of this old football boot that was kept behind the bar. It was a big tradition and I’m pretty sure they still do it now
Until Daniel Riccardo did it, I’d never heard of it nor seen anyone do it.
I was at a party in the mid 70s that was attended by a few members of the local motorcycle club who passed around a boot full of beer and insisted that we all partake. I thought it would be impolite and unwise to refuse and so took my turn and had a modest sip.
‘Motorcycle Enthusiasts’ I’m assuming here?
Ha! They thought they were a bikie gang but their unofficial name was The Sundowners because we reckoned they were always home before dark.

Mr Inbetween is pretty good.
And my latest book purchase is by Matt Nable (titled Mire)
His first book was pretty good but I had an issue with the timing of the crime.
Some fairly discerning critics giving this a pass so I will ja E to check it out.
Good to know we can still produce something of note.
Feel free to drop any other “Top Aussie Drama” recommendations in the TV thread, gents. I have given the whole industry a blanket “disregard” rating for years, aside from the odd ABC series.
Is Mr In Between a book or a TV show. If the latter, where can I watch it?
