Can she bring those blokes that stood behind/next to her during her interview?

It was kind of odd. Well more odd than where the people in the back are nodding and smiling. These blokes just looked grumpy, and perhaps even intimidating.

(Apologies if this is an indigenous thing that I don’t understand)

Never happen as Mapo never smiles, except his fake smile when he sucks up to past players at Club functions.

Hmm, fake smile, doesn’t vote, maybe Mapo is one of the Brethren ?

I loved the fact the while McGrath wanted to keep talking Jim just kept very quiet . he must have been ■■■■■■■ himself laughing on the quiet

In a spectacular display of political acumen and general finger-on-the-pulse-edness, a triumphant Tim Wilson has today come out strongly in support of … nuclear power.

Just in case anyone was under the impression that the libs were going to rethink anything at all.

A former banker and venture capitalist is exactly what Australia needs more of in our political ranks. I for one am excited to hear what this self-made lady from the other side of the tracks…in Hawthorn, has to say about us average folk. I’m sure she’ll be a hit.

My Sister says she is a lot like her Granddaddy Di.ck Hamer. Back when he was Premier, most of the Melbourne Liberals were moderate and socially progressive, even Federally blokes like Senator Missen and Don Chipp and others were not hard rightwing.

And Dave the Don, Gough was a Labor Right winger like Hawke, and while socially progressive not really socialist. Albo and his Team are definitely to the left of Gough, but not the others around that time like Jim Cairns who had massive influence.

Would be a stretch to ever see the extreme right wing run liberals ever let a woman let alone a gay man be their leader, That would be a huge shift for them, I dont particularly like him, but he has a much higer intelect than ley, dutton and taylor put together

I think it still is , for select schools. Some of the clubs certainly host cadet training days and the like. But it’s certainly dwindling in popularity.

I guess the only question for the Libs, when confronted with the choice between a raving cooker indigenous woman and a lying, cheating IPA gay man, is “Scomo, where the bloody hell are ya?”

Reality will be another straight, white, quietly angry bloke unless they go full poison chalice to Ley.

Well that’s the end of that. Dead to me.
