Australian Policies -- from 2025 Federal election

She prefers older blokes with terminal illnesses as adversaries does our Julie

Ministers and Shadow Ministers earn a lot more than backbenchers and get a free rein on travel. I remember Bishop at one of Gil’s polo events, justifying it as foreign policy lite work.

Still not great to what she would be earning outside of politics. She was on something like $800k as a consultant when she first left parliament

Oh I think they(lnp) are a bunch of snowflakes and the abc is painfully non biased(local/australian politics anyhow).

But it is the sort of article that provides ammo. And there’s been a few in the washup post the election.

Leave the diagnosis of their faults to Libs willing to go on record imho.

ALP types likely guilty of similar ‘offences’.

They all have to disclose gifts, including tix to the big sporting events. But they use their Parliamentary travel to get to them and underprice the value of the tix ( corporate boxes with the French champagne and Beluga caviar on the menu).

This we can agree on. It’ll never happen ever. She will stay in the Senate with a senior shadow ministry role. She doesn’t have the capacity or experience to be leader.

That’s what I’ve got. Very rare very aggressive. I’m still here after 18 months though getting excellent treatment at the Gold Coast University Hospital.
Just have to go with the flow.

The virtue signaling on this really helped get the voice voted down, I believe. I go to live theatre a bit and one is subjected to a long speech over the interco system whilst in the lobby about the Ularoo statement, and how the theatre supports it etc ( who cares, really, what their position is) and then the same audio is played to one prior to the performance after one has sat down. The younger social warriors on this site would do well to read George Orwell’s 1984 novel. Talk about Big Brother. Brain washing doesn’t work, it only turns people away.

One is equally miffed to have to abide by 20 minutes of pure capitalist ideology prior to ones enjoyment or otherwise of the latest Marvel cinematic experience. But one must abide.

Having a lend, it’s all tiresome but the virtue signalling is also on the other end where people are suddenly so beset upon by a couple pf minutes of acknowledgment of history and present. The repetition is just white man bureaucracy doing its thing. Otherwise put your farking airpods in and cue up some Rogan if it’s so painful.

That makes it two consecutive federal elections the LNP has not claimed a single ALP held seat.

On the flip side, the ALP has claimed 22 LNP held seats (and could get to 23 with Longman but I suspect LNP hold here).

Its the mindless repetition that lasts for many more than a couple of mins, enjoy your Marvel( good grief)

My favourite MP with two of her Giant Comrades. Cathy is tall, Daniel Repacholi is 202 cm and Matt Smith looks even taller.

Clunk mits!

It’s clear as day the cookers in the National party are concerned the moderates will claim control the Liberal Party.

So now you have the cooker of all cookers, defecting to the Libs, to make sure Angus Taylor gets the leadership……… and they continue down the poor man’s Trump path.

The nutters have seized control of the nuthouse.
