I did a season picking fruit years ago. It was hard work but great fun. There were plenty from overseas and only 4 of us aussies. I. Had a ball.
This was around 1990 and the wages were pretty low back then. Not for everyone, but hardly slave labour. The money saved me and my car payments at the time.

"Outspoken independent senator Jacqui Lambie has unleashed on Scott Morrison, accusing him of lying and labelling him as the worst Prime Minister in history.
Senator Lambie screeched across the Senate chamber as she repeatedly lashed Mr Morrison and his government for their “incompetence,” stating she was looking forward to the Coalition losing the upcoming federal election.
“You are finished in the next election. You’re gone,” Senator Lambie said.
“You’re finished in Tasmania. I reckon your two seats are gone. They’re completely gone.
“And I look forward to doing that. I look forward to running my own candidates in those seats, and passing those preferences where they deserve to go – not to political liars.”
The enraged Senator then narrowed-in her attack on the Prime Minister, blasting Mr Morrison for failing to deliver on many of his election promises.
“(The Coalition) have gone from one prime minister to another and this is the worst one on record,” she said.
“He’s incompetent. He’s not a leader and I’m enjoying watching him and you fall apart.”

It was amusing when Birmingham, the President of the Senate, said something to the effect that LNP Senators should not seek to trade their votes - when it has been Government practice to negotiate the votes of the cross benchers for a trade off.

I seriously and truly think he’s such a massive narcassist, he cant tell the difference between the truth and a lie, even today in QT he said the opposition was offering bribes to the australian people, it was challenged to be withdrawn because of the word “bribe” And he denied saying it. After less than 1 minute, and he actually denied saying Bribe

Imagine your a young kid who has just finished his/her apprenticeship, diploma or degree.
You have spent a couple of years busting your gut studying remotely due to covid, missed out on really a bunch of once in a lifetime opportunities to be a little social and get quality academic or skills from a mentor face to face.
Now your hitting the job market probably a little unprepared as a result and you look at entry level housing being completely out of your reach and your government with plans to import 2 million more people(many I assume over qualified to get in) in the next 5 years for you to compete with for a job.
Happy days.

What is it that Morrison’s government pushes that young MPs actually believe in, that older MPs do not?
What does he stand for? I haven’t quite worked it out. Other than when the usually LNP party politics that’s been running for generations raises its head.
