Kind of agree, LNP moderates have been concerned about losing large Chinese community vote in a few seats because of Potato and Scummo ramping up the Peril for political gain. This seems a good way for the ALP to reverse that sentiment and certainly give Gladys a leg up in Chisolm at least. Must be some gain in it. Then again, this is the party that seems to obtain its election strategy from 15 year olds on bulbs, EVERY TIME.

They did print the dodgy conflutes, she didn’t disclose her donations to the LNP and she was linked to some Chinese government groups.

Libs are going hard with the ‘watch out for the trannies coming fer yer kids’ scare campaign. I’m betting the ‘omg Gladys is leading the Chinese straight to our doorstep!’ thing is the ALP chasing the same voting segment.
Seems stupid to me. They should be attacking the entire government’s foreign policy records. Liu is just an MP at the end of the day. The Solomons mess has Morrison’s fingerprints all over it, and is directly connected with the Coalition’s failure to address climate change when the pacific islands are screaming for us to do that, and the blundering of Payne and Seselja. There’s bigger fish to fry here, Liu seems like an insignificant target.
