They vote for fossil fuels industry up there(weāll certainly not inner city brisbane but elsewhere), why would they remove subsidies?

But surely there has to be a end date. Canāt keep helping out people forever. There is always going to be conflicts and there has to be a definitive end date to coal here. Even if they said 2025 or something itās better than leaving it open ended

Bridget Archer is small-l liberal, who probably has more in common with several of the teals than with parts of her own party.
She just stands out because 85% of her party (or more, not counting) have gone the the RWNJ end of the spectrum.

An MP who is convicted of a crime can be sacked, but you cannot sack them just because they are a ****.
In Local,Government if a Councillor resigns or is sacked they recasts the votes from the election and the next person gets the gig.

The public service is not your family business that you give jobs to friends and family(or shouldnāt be).
If it means Perretot seems fit to take Ayres resignation then I think Ayres should resign from Parliament.
If your representing us then a higher standard should apply.
The positions illicit a title of honorable for a reason.
