My mate sent me this as he was listening to the podcast.

I think it was definitely a forgone conclusion had the events of the past 48 hours not occured. He really didn’t have many choices, so his hands were tied if he wanted to stay on Melbourne.
Given the connection between Barham and Clarkson, I’d be staggered if it hadn’t already progressed to a stage whereby they’d be confident of landing him before the coup.
