There is no way we should allow Xavier to recruit another coach. He’s stuffed up every appointment he’s made. I don’t care how bad the coaching gets, I only want Rutten gone once Xavier is removed first.

They might be on a 5 game win streak, at home, with Dixon & Raz back…
He is backed heavily by the AFL. It will never happen.

The worst thing about his is that yet again …. our players are going to be validated for quitting.
There must be a decent portion of the list who believe that effort is optional.
Effort is dependent on their belief in a coach.
Disgraceful group of players.
We need to thoroughly investigate how we recruit our players and if there is any attempt to evaluate their mental resilience.

This is what should happen, but won’t.
I believe a huge majority of the more educated supporters who know what sort of turmoil is currently happening at the club will refrain from attending many games, especially for the rest of the year, as a sort of statement.
There are too many soft, neutral types who will still go every week and clap the players off anyway. And as soon as anybody is critical of them? You get the usual “bUt i SuPpOrT mY tEaM iN gOOd tImEs AnD tHe bAd” & “dOn’T CoMe BaCk wHeN We sTaRt wINnInG gAmEs”. Then you get the types who you never see all year, except on ANZAC Day and to a lesser extent Dreamtime. Hanging from the rafters on ANZAC Day this year with their Essendon scarf that only comes out of the wardrobe once a year. Most of them wouldn’t even know we lost last night.
But they’ll still rock up at Dreamtime.
Information was received by a family member who is on Melbourne s coaching staff. No reason not to believe it. Had clashes with Goodwin especially
Interesting stuff…I don’t really rate Goodwin (more so as a person)
Seems as though Daniher and Saad smelt a lemon in Rutten from a mile away.
