I think, as a club, thereās not quite the willingness (or clarity?) to help mostly good - but imperfect - people by supporting them in the right way. Eg assistants who are stronger in areas theyāre not. Slightly different, stepped down role on field.
Which then feeds the scapegoat/saviour cycle.
Itās too tight a comp now. Itās a team game. Canāt keep chucking out good (but not perfect) people.
I think the Suns improved performance just means they have recruited a group of tough and talented players over the last few years.
And they are all maturing and developing to a point where they are capable of playing good, consistent football in accordance with a gameplan set down by any random professional coach.
Itās only round 9.
They have the same problem we have.
Have never put together a full season of consistent footy.
Itās mostly been a terrible part and an average part.
Let them show some more sustained form before applauding them or giving them a pat on the back.
