Ben Rutten - sacked

Don’t think all of them. Some are very happy to see the back of him…

That’s quite a nice thing by the players and a bit of an up yours to the management.

But I hope they apologise as well as console, because a lot their on field actions contributed to this situation.

I’d vote for you any day Heff!

I’m out of likes. Thank you.

Rutten’s head is on a pike and it’s time to welcome Pyke. Our new slogan next year can be:

Is Don is Good.

Kinda. He was a much liked bloke you’d want them to farewell him. They should be ashamed they were part of his demise.

I would.

My understanding is that non of them can understand Rutten’s directions to his house.

I reckon some of them will request trades.

That was true initially, but in the end he stripped the directions back to fingerpainting and sock puppets. They were ok then…

same - they aren’t ever perfect. you look at Dwight Shrutes departure from Carlton (come on, dead ringer) and now and its totally forgotten, but in the meantime they were getting Cook on board and you haven’t heard boo since.

its simply not the case here - I don’t mind barham but id be far more confident if we had a cook type, just a settling influence, rather than X. Be great just knowing cook or Balme or costa or gale or Peggy whatserface or even Jim was just floating about the joint, putting out spotfires and just generally adding a certain calm that X don’t.

if x and barham are to become a double act they’ve got rocks in their heads.

I know this is the Rutten thread but dammit just ■■■■ off!

I actually dont care if they do . Can’t have players who don’t want to be there

Welcome to Woodend boys

Probably.

But at the end of the day, they didn’t play for him when it mattered.

And neither the coach nor players could identify why their training and commitment wasn’t translating onto on-field performances.
