Barham should have called Truck ytd at 6am. At 7am he should have met him at Tulla and told him that the support he enjoyed via Brasher had now gone. He would be stood down and paid out next year in full.
He should then have advised Truck that a press conference would be called for Tuesday afternoon and he had the choice to coach the final game and see out the year or finish immediately.

Honestly cant see clarko wanting to coach north, total nothing club with no supporters, no money, no big games. I dont see the attraction for him?

I think there is far less notionally separating the idea for Clarkson than many are giving credit. I could easily see the AFL offering North a suspension of the soft cap instead of draft tampering if Clarkson goes there. Which means our ability to pay the fines for getting in whoever he wants in the football dept are moot.
Sometimes good faith and professionalism isnāt the answer in footy. Its dog eat dog and despite both parties being respectful, Norf is not an attractive option, one would assume if it was a big 4 club Clarkson would have already signed on the dotted line.
A Norf ultimatum is not a good move on their behalf.
Think about being someone like Harry Jones at the club. Will come into the club next year only being there 4 years, and will playing for his 3rd head coach

Clarkson is the seal. He is along way from home,being in Adelaide today. However the seal is a done deal.

If Clarkson chooses Nth over Essendon it will confirm that we are the competition joke.
Events since the weekend are typical of our clubās delusional self importance, but at least there is action on the clear to see disfunction in the football dept.
X is a footy club CEO who has failed to unite the footy dept. Thats enough to trigger a review of his position, but the contract renewal will see him survive this period.
I believe that Rutten could become a good coach, but heās clearly not at this time. EFC has run out of patience and that is good imo. We have a list that could become something under a unified and simplified direction.
Any idea of Hird returning as coach is the absolute craziest divisive thing the club could do. It would be disconnected from reality.

As it would be for us if he signs on as Norfs coach
