Pretty sure he came close to playing with us before he joined port. One of my fave non Essendon players.

Genuine question: have the ruck rules at the centre bounce changed?
I thought at a centre bounce a ruckman couldn’t block their opponents run at the contest, yet every ball up against the Giants, their ruckman would get between goldstein and the ball. Isn’t this a free kick?

yes, they’re allowed to use their arms now as long as they don’t got past the ball and miss it

Err…if you venture in the game review thread there were plenty of posters giving the umpiring a serve. May not have made it here but Blitzers were not happy with the umpiring on Saturday I can assure you of that!!
