If that doesn’t scare the sh.it out of Charlo nothing will.
Cop that you clown
Any chance Charlo dodges Tszyu and vacates his titles?
Charlo will want no part of him.
Tim was so aggressive right from the bell. That first RH that put him down was beautiful to watch. Solid work Timmy.
I think I agree. Charlo would rather move divisions and be stripped of the belts but keep his 0 than lose both his belts and his 0.
Nice work. Very nice work.
He has a loss to his name
Correct, I forgot about Harrison. I amend to say I think he would prefer to have the titles stripped for some nebulous reason, allowing him to challenge at the next weight without delay, rather than losing them outright. If he were to lose badly to Tszyu it impacts his ability to draw money.
I don’t follow boxing too closely, but is there an argument that Tim is already better than Kostya was?
I don’t think so but tracking that way. He’s a beast.
Not sure but I think Nikita may be the best of the lot of them once he gets his shot.
For people that follow boxing, is Ocampo a decent boxer or did we expect Tszyu to take him apart like that today ?..it was a brutal finish.
I never thought he would only last 70 seconds but I had no doubt it wouldn’t go past 3 rounds. He is not in the same league as Tim
I thought he was seen as a risky opponent for Tszyu?
Ocampo before today had only had two losses, one on points to Fundora, who is a 6’6" twig, but was also an interim World Champ at super welterweight (70kg) last October. And the second fight back in 2018 to Errol Spence where he was knocked out in the first by Spence, who is a unified world champ and about to fight Crawford for all the belts at welterweight (67kg) and currently ranked by ring magazine as no. 4 pound for pound in the world. Given that, Ocampo is a decent boxer, maybe not top top tier, but he has certainly earned at least 3 shots at world titles which bums never get. I don’t think anyone really thought Ocampo was going to win, but I doubt anyone saw a stoppage less than half way through the first round coming.
I expect the #1 priority of Team Tszyu is the Charlo bout but also to make the most of Tim’s currency right now. Ocampo was a good choice. He has a good record, was willing to travel to Australia and will bring a Mexican audience with him. He’s also Top Rank listed which helps make bouts like this one. Some may believe he was only here for a payday and in the scheme of things, he probably won’t get another headline bout of this scale again but make no mistake, he was devastated to lose in the fashion he did. The bloke is a pro and his reaction post bout was pretty raw. Tszyu should have won that bout and he did. Is he better than Charlo? Who knows but he’s taking care of business inside and outside of the ring and he and his team deserve credit for the way they’re going about it.
About 40 minutes to the Fulton v Inoue fight. Looking forward to this a lot. The Monster Inoue 24-0 (21 by KO) is the brutal three weight world champion, stepping up to Super Bantamweight to challenge the undefeated Fulton 21-0 (8 by KO) for his WBC and WBO belts. Could well be fight of the year.
Less than 10 minutes. If anyone wants a link PM me
First round definitely a feeling out process but Inoue probably takes the round 10-9
Inoue dominates round 2, 20-18
Round 3 done and dusted and Futlon has his best round yet and isn’t even in the same ball park Inoue take the 3rd 30 - 27
Round 4 and Inoue just keeps making Fulton look second rate easy round for Inoue 40 - 36
Fulton managed to land about 6 decent hits that round, unfortunately for him Inoue landed about 25… 50 - 45
Fulton a bit better that round but still Inoue’s round 60 - 54
Futlon landed a few hits but Inoue’s round again up 7-0 70-63
Round 8 and ref steps in to stop the firght. Inoue knocks Fulton dow with beautiful right follwed by left cross, then jumps all over him when he gets back to his feet. Total domination of an unified, undefeated boxer by the Monster. Incredible boxer.
Spence v Crawford done and dusted. For 8 of the 9 rounds Crawford dominated and at times terrorised Spence with the only round Spence “won” being the first and even that was debatable.
No doubt this was a masterclass by Crawford. Very, very hard to say who was more dominant, Crawford or Inoue. Bewteen the two of them they have #1 and #2 PfP boxer in the world sewn up. You can argue amongst yourselves as to which order.
