I think most people just think he was a ventriloquist dummy to the great war criminals, Cheney and Rumsfeld.

Just how real are these prop firearms?

(CNN)A female crew member has died and another injured following an accident involving a prop firearm on the New Mexico set of the film “Rust,” according to a law enforcement statement provided to CNN.

The prop firearm was discharged by actor and producer Alec Baldwin, 68, according to the Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Office.

The female victim was identified as director of photography Halyna Hutchins, 42, according to investigators. She was transported to the hospital via helicopter and pronounced dead by medical personnel at University of New Mexico Hospital.

The other victim, 48-year-old director Joel Souza, was transported to Christus St. Vincent’s Regional Medical Center by ambulance for care. Details on his condition were not released.

“According to investigators it appears that the scene being filmed involved the use of a prop firearm when it was discharged,” a statement from authorities said. “Detectives are investigating how and what type of projectile was discharged.”

The incident happened Thursday at approximately 1:50 p.m. local time, investigators said.

“Rust” is a Western film set in the 1880s that stars Baldwin, Travis Fimmel and Jensen Ackles.

Email requests for comment sent to the film’s production company and a representative for Baldwin were not immediately returned.

The Sheriff’s Office said the investigation “remains open and active” and no charges have been filed.

Gunther has passed away. It was known he was fighting cancer but still sad news.

Friends star James Michael Tyler has died at the age of 59, it’s been confirmed.

The actor, who famously played Central Perk manager Gunther during the show’s 10-year run, passed away at his home in Los Angeles on Sunday morning following a battle with stage 4 prostate cancer.

The actor’s representative confirmed the news to TMZ and shared a statement from the actor’s family.

“The world knew him as Gunther (the seventh “Friend”), from the hit series “Friends,” but Michael’s loved ones knew him as an actor, musician, cancer-awareness advocate, and loving husband.

“Michael loved live music, cheering on his Clemson Tigers, and would often find himself in fun and unplanned adventures. If you met him once you made a friend for life.”

He was first diagnosed with cancer in 2018, but kept it private for three years.

James revealed his cancer diagnosis earlier this year in an interview with the US Today show, just weeks after the much-hyped Friends reunion aired - which had left fans wondering as to why he wasn’t included in the live filming.

He explained that his former castmates were aware of his health battle and that his chemotherapy treatment had prevented him from taking part in person.

“I wanted to be a part of that, and initially I was going to be on the stage, at least, with them, and be able to take part in all the festivities,” Tyler said in the interview in June.

“It was bittersweet, honestly. I was very happy to be included. It was my decision not to be a part of that physically and make an appearance on Zoom, basically, because I didn’t wanna bring a downer on it, you know? I didn’t want to be like, ‘Oh, and by the way, Gunther has cancer’.”

Just saw this. Apart from being an obsessive Royals supporter, he was alright. Didn’t know he was ill.

Rock on!

Sure it wasn’t a heart attack

Shock horror. Entertainment mogul likes to dabble in pharmaceuticals. Not sure why this needs to be released to the public tho?

I can only assume you’ve quoted the wrong post?

Your assumption is correct. Oops.

I’m not a pharmaceuticals expert, but only one of them is illegal, isn’t it? Lots of pain killers.

He appeared doomed anyway. I’d have probably just gone to Switzerland but he had an obscene amount of money. Why not.

Unless it came out that he was a jimmy saville type I hope he’s remembered fondly.

Remember when the Police searched Michael Jackson’s house after his untimely death?

In his bathroom, they found Class A pharmaceuticals.

In his living room, they found Class A narcotics.

In his bedroom, they found Class 5B.

Ashley Mallett

Saddened by this, he was a bit of a regular at my local club and mentored a few of our young bowlers over the years.

Had some bottles of red at a mates with him and it was a great night full of yarns.
