My memories of B Newton are clouded by the misery of being forced to watch Ford Super Quiz as a kid.

Geez, first Rowdy and now Pete. Pretty tough couple of days for those of us involved with the SACA over the years

He wasn’t bigger than Kennedy or Lane, but IMHO he was funnier, much funnier. He had a rare gift, bucket loads of comic skill. His news doesn’t sadden me, nor surprise, but his memory does bring a smile. He was rolled gold.

I liked Bert. I found his demeanor simply pleasant to listen to. When I lived here the first time I used to put him on in the morning when I woke up as there wasn’t much to watch. I just liked listening to him talk.

Kennedy #1
Newton #5
Lane #732

Why have you got Lane so high?

Don was great when he did the NFL show but I didn’t rate him highly for his other work

The Don Lane verses James Randi (about Uri Geller) was amusing stuff.

BTW Don Lane was the reason I got into NFL.
