I saw him throw a mic stand into the moshpit at BDO in 94 or 95 or somewhere around there. Never a massive fan to be honest, but left an impression
Damm he was huge in the 80s and 90s along side Penn and Teller remember watching him every time he was on tv

Dr Moss Cass has died at 95
Moss was our first real Environment Minister and he put the Environment on the national agenda for the first time in 1972.He was also the actual father of our national health scheme working to put Medibank on Whitlam policy list. Should have been Minister of Health, but it was never to be. I worked for him during the Whitlam years and you would not meet a finer Australian.
I knew his daughter Deborah, a huge brain and equally committed to social progress.
The moustacheless beard is a bold move.

My recollection is that Moss Cass was the first to win Maribyrnong for the ALP. Essendon had always voted Liberal before that.
Yep that was in 1969, my first election campaign. I was 16 and worked for Dr Cass handing out election stuff in Puckle Street for weeks.
Moss was a great person.
