You know the “hand of God” thing was Maradona, right? I always thought Pele was better though.
Some of the people that get a mention in here, I’ve honestly never heard of and sometimes think it’s a bit of a stretch to call them “celebrities”. At one point, most people in the world knew the name Pele.

He has been ill for sometime but doesn’t make this any easier to comprehend. Even though he finished up when I was very young I still consider him the GOAT and today is a very sad day

Even on the day Pele dies……Argentinians making it all about Maradona.
How messy can you be? I think now that a lot of Argentinians would rate Messi above Maradona…particularly if they are among the 50% with Italian blood…and of course, Messi hasn’t played club soccer in his homeland since he was 12. I sort of hope he does go back to play with Newell’s Old Boys, or even Rosario.
He would never do that. Play the game to give something back? Never. He only cares about money.
