Changes vs Bulldogs

Redman is a creative player with his dashing runs and damaging kicking.
He is likely to pick up small to medium sized players.

Baldwin is nothing like him.
Baldwin replaces LAV/Zerk types.

If Redman misses, he gets replaced by Hind, Massimo, or a Durham type and we include another player in the 22 who can play Wing.

I’d love to see us do it to both of them.

Ginnivan hates being roughed up. He has since he was a kid. He played netball at Harcourt for a year in under 14s because he was being roughed up by certain teams.

As for Weightman can we bring back Dean Wallis for a week

Add to that Hobbs is a lot harder at the pill and opposition. Tsatsas will get there but needs to earn it like everyone else. Montgomerie would have to be in line as well very consistent

  • Draper still 2 or more weeks away
  • Shiel just not 100% won’t outline the injury/soreness
  • Sounds like it’s either Weid or Bryan this week (reading between the lines, leaning towards 2 rucks) with Phillips back in
  • Lav should be right to play
  • Tsatas close but didn’t sound like it will be this week

If Brad gives Weideman a game this week he is genuinely the wrong man to take this club forward.

Is last year the only full year weve gotten out of Draper since he joined??

Fkn injury prone

I personally think re Weid, Brads hands are tied. There must have been some agreement before we traded him in. There is no other logical explanation for him constantly being selected.

Sack Brad and get Hardwick!

Correct. 7th year on list for 56 games.

Whats new our injury managemnet has been ■■■■ for years needs a complete overhaul and then replaced with the best people in the buisness

This Weid situation reminds me of paddy Ryder’s form slump in 2011 until he went bananas in that game we beat Geelong

Constantly selecting Weed when his form doesn’t warrant it, only damages selection integrity.

BDB has gone “ALL IN” on Weideman, probably because he realised Weid’s shattered confidence could not take another dropping to the VFL.

Problem with this stategy is, Brad was holding 2-7 offsuit !

Played most of 2021 didn’t he? Apart from his knee reco, I can’t actually really remember him being injured nor missing much since debuting mid-2020.

Only Essendon can be completely ■■■■ one year, mildly better the next and still decide that the 22 is sweet and we’re better off with two top 10 picks running around in the ressies.

Something @Paul_Peos said stuck the other day

If Scott selects weideman this week, you really cant take anything he does heading forward seriously can you?

imagine if they drop Bryan and keep Weid in. With the way team selections have gone this year- I’m not ruling it out

On what planet does an unwanted spud get to demand x amount of games at a new club?
