Changes vs Norf

I like out method of flash frying them in the first quarter.

Sounds like you’re suggesting a midfielder moves to half back. Shut this ā– ā– ā– ā–  down now or Myers will be named there

No Waite this time.

Hey, now you mention it…

Mason Wood, but he is very hit and miss, especially with kicking for goal.

Out: Redman, Green
In: Francis, Clarke

Keep the changes simple.

Out: Redman, Green, McKernan
In: Stewart, Ridley, Colyer/Mutch

Think we might get an idea via today’s VFL game. Any players withdrawn may be in line for promotions.

Hurley to Brown for a lockdown role.

Hooker to zone off when he can.

We need another inside mid to compete with Cunnington and Zeibell. If Clarke has 30+ I’d bring him in again.

Out: Green, Redman (inj), McKernan (legit been terrible for three weeks)
In: Colyer (Pending todays game), Francis, Stewart (Pending todays game)

Despite the perceptions of an horrific season (and let’s face it, at times it has been) … we were 6-8 after 14 games last year. We have a chance to go 7-7 with a win over North next week.

Brown, Ziebell & Higgins loom as our three main challenges. If we can nullify two, we are a big chance.

They love playing us and will, without question, bring their A-game. We will need to be playing at close to our maximum level (our standard against Geelong, GWS & West Coast) to win this.

They have been impressive this year winning the amount of games they have to this point. A big surprise for many. But I reckon they still have as many question marks as we do. Still many of their older players leading the way and still vulnerable - the Bulldogs have 16 (!) on their injury list and really should’ve beaten them last night.

We need to beat North and the Pies to go 8 - 8. We do that and I’ll start to maybe consider finals and possibly winning one if we win another 5 and one of them is Sydney.

If we beat North and Pies we’ll be 8-7

Why withdraw - next AFL game is not until Sunday

Don’t underestimate Cunnington. He is in ripping form, a contested ball bull.

I know he’s not going anywhere, but he is exactly what we need.

How do we bring in both Ridley and Francis. One for Redman is a given, but after watching the VFL I want both in. They are going to be stars.

Those that want Smack out, who is providing relief ruck for Belly?

Stewart is miles off at the moment. Smack has to stay in

And Smack makes a better KPP - Stringer plays better with Smack than Stewart.
