Changes vs Sydney

Game on.
Sydney smell blood.
You can’t deny their culture and quality.

Can we announce ourselves with a win next week?

Going to be interesting to see how Sydney pull up after an inspiring win?
They’ll either be flat or add to their growing momentum.

It’s been a long time since we have beaten Sydney…this will be like finals game…we need to fight like it is. It’s about time we win an interstate game!!!

The Franklin hit looks bad but I don’t think there was any high contact.

Didn’t Nick Revolt throw a punch last night too? Zero chance of that meaning anything to the MRP this round.

IN:

To play in the guts as an offensive ball winning middle-fielder.

Lot of trouble to go to, to say …

I wouldn’t mind if he got a go, … but I somehow doubt it.

You see the positive stuff the media start to say about us and wonder if we’ve ‘turned the corner’. Then fark Carlton beat the Giants and the media starts gushing over that and you think “yeah, maybe not.”

I thought that first pic was Sandilands.

I wouldn’t mind him being picked - it would be pretty funny to see the reactions on here.

Blokes have been suspended for lesser bumps. Franklin will therefore get off.

Not liking our chances after a bye. 4 of the 12 teams who have had a bye have won the following week and one of those matches was both teams having the bye the week before

I actually think bye will be ok for us.

Our older players in particular would be better for it, Watson, Kelly and Goddard can freshen up. Colyer’s kicking has gone awry possibly due to fatigue so a rest will do him good. Our small fwds in particular Raz and TIPPA have had to do a lot more midfield time than was probably expected, we need them at their pressuring best.

JD has had a knee complaint of sorts which a weeks rest/recovery will help. And also means opportunity for Parish to be fit again to come in to replace Howlett.
