Collingwood Pelican under investigation for gambling on Pies games

Keep in mind it is the biggest penalty ever given. If it was one of our boys we’d be complaining that it was too harsh.

Where are the calls to have Jaidyn hand back his RS to Tom Dodee?

I know what you’re saying here but you wouldn’t actually want to see that would you?

Reading this thread it’s almost like people aren’t simply good or bad… there is some… grey area :astonished:

Did he have in his multi that he would kick three goals, then kick that barrel to make sure he kicked his third?

The media are completely retarded when it comes to good sports people. Just look at Damian Oliver, in Hong Kong he would’ve been sent to prison for what he did, yet here they still think he’s some untouchable legend because he’s successful. As said before, if we had’ve been successful in more recent times, the AFL wouldn’t have said anything.

Apparently he did

How the hell is that only 10 weeks?

It is way to harsh. Gambling companies are the evil here. Aka the “game”. Not the player.

If you couldnt lay these bets in the first place it wouldnt be a problem.

Ban the Gambling then.

May as well say capitalism is the problem. Which it is. In the meantime idiot gets what idiot deserves and should’ve got more.

Not at all.

If a player isnt directly gambling he can accept favours from people that do.

Id ban it. Let people punt on the share market.with property with horses or at a casino.

But leave footy alone.

It absolutely is not.
