Well, if that is it…That might just be one of the best artistic jokes I have ever seen.
Speaking to a mate who is a Port fan (yeah I know) and he had an absolute ball with a few of our past players and coaches on the weekend and was absolutely glowing about how great and approachable they were. Sound like a few of the old boys had a big weekend over here

It’s not all about the handful of people at hot/high UV pre-season, when the sun is much higher…
I can’t tell from these shots whether rain protection during games is the goal/will be achieved.

If the clubs intention is that in future, preference is that VFL / AFLW games be played at Windy Hill, then that’s fine. Although this ‘erection’ is slightly limp, I can accept the simplicity of this infrastructure.
In this instance, I’m interested in an update on timelines on Windy Hill redevelopment and when it’s expected to be ready for match use? I fear the project has run into challenges and there’s been little progress the last 6 months.
Worst case scenario is we continue to play matches at The Hangar for next 3 years, with only this ‘stand’ capable of servicing the supporters that attend matches, training etc.

Pretty apt that our major sponsor is a a low frills, budget merchandise company because that pretty much sums up our club. Should see if Jetstar or Cheap as Chips want to come onboard next year
