Dont think that this correct; I was told this morning that Gladys and Dan agreed on the actions to be taken and asked the PM to announce it, but he deferred it. So they both went ahead without him.

I listened to both Gladsy and Dan, and thought they both showed firm Leadership.

I hate being fair to ScoMo, but these decisions are State decisions and he should just be looking regal in the background.

In my opinion the staged shut down is for three reasons.

  1. Limit panic
  2. Timeliness, ensuring the shut down is at the right time for the health care system but doesnt last too long
  3. Ensuring the appropriate measures are in place to support individuals and businesses before a shut down, i would guess this is a massive amount of work.

What happened yesterday lead to a lot of confusion. They should have simply waited and announced what they announced this morning.

They have also both gone against the National Medical advisor. Let’s hope their hunch is correct.

Getting pretty worried I may have this thing now. Developed a cough and fever a couple of weeks ago, saw the Dr twice over the past couple of weeks and he prescribed me antibiotics - I’m just about to finish my 3rd course and although I feel better overall, I still have a nasty cough, shortness of breath and fatigue (I mowed my lawns on Saturday and it near killed me).

Called the doctors office now, based on what I told them the reception staff asked me not to come in and I’m waiting on a call back from my doctor to see what next steps are.

I saw 3 Camrys in Marysville at 7:30am on Friday. They were trying to do the same thing just minus the busses.

The store had nothing to begin with, so I think they wasted their trip.
