Qld Premier must have a different advisor.
I dont think he performs well in public. But that is all i have to go on. May well be very good behind closed doors. As i have said people i trust vouch for him so i will stick by that.

All our leaders our under enormous pressure. They are going to get some things wrong, especially on the communications front. We just have to hope they get the big things right.

I reckon his advice has been tinged with politics. After looking at Italy, Singapore, North Korea experience, then perhaps as many other learned experts have suggested that harsher measures should have been taken earlier.
And in my view, panicking statments like 160,000 will die, send very mixed messages. Some go into panic mode, some just do not believe it and go to the beach and others get depressed. We are not a completely stupid society, so ther message could have been directive and not emotive.

There is a rule book, and other places learnt from SARS and other outbreaks. And there have been enough movies around contagion that someone must be thinking in depth about it.

Let’s hop someone knows what they are doing. Scomo has been very measured and calm. Perhaps too clam.
The media needs to pull their head in. Last night it screamed LOCKDOWN instead of Shutdown.
Today it says cases soar to 57. Well that’s actually down from the day before which is good seeing we should be seeing growth.
