COVID-19 Round 13 - IT'S NOT A RACE!

Well see how accepting everyone is when they spike to 500+.

Both provide quite a bit of protection at one dose. How much varies according to which study you look at. 1 dose of Pfizer could be anything from 78% to over 90% AZ could be from over 60% to 88% from studies I’ve looked at.

AFL will still somehow find a way to make us play in Sydney.

Do you remember which particular strain of the virus those studies were testing?

But probably win 50-60% less games unfortunately

I mean…probably not.
If you stop giving NSWmen games just ā€˜cos…
Reckon it’ll balance out pretty well.

36ish percent efficacy for Pfizer, 30 ish for AZ according to a study published this week…so not great.

The whole suppression idea was flawed from the start….vaccination was left behind as we boasted look at Australia we are Covid free… no national strategy states can’t agree on anything and will continue t play there own little games…people not taking it seriously going against health advice alway going to let it out…… I can’t accept that some still don’t know what’s expected of them to do…one of workmates said lol we just do what we want to do…. Thankfully he’s been sent home told to work from home until further notice…

So when she said ā€œI’m not someone who will be afraid to take any decision we need to keep our citizens safe.ā€, she really meant something less than that.

And when she reaches October, and the vaccine isn’t enough to stop lockdown, will she throw ScoMo under the bus for not getting enough vaccine, or the citizens for not enough uptake, or just claim that no one knew they wouldn’t be a perfect solution to the spread of Delta.

Has been plenty that haven’t deserved a call up but by in large NSW has produced the majority of best players too

Becaaaaaaause…?

Sounds familiar.

If all players were available to play Sheffield Shield every year NSW would win 50-60% of them, Victoria 20-30% and the rest of us battlers might win 20% combined if we are lucky. NSW still is the premier cricketing state

So it took this for Australia to embrace the nuclear option.

We didn’t adopt nukes because China wants to wipe out Japan with them, it’s because we wanted to wipe out Sydney. The only nation to take on nukes to use them against ourselves.

Rest of the world…WTF???

Some of it due to population but a lot of it due now to NSW having the best pathways and domestic setup. Victoria runs a good ship too but the rest of us simply don’t have the funding to get near the two big states

UK Study shows Pfizer 96% effective against hospitalisation and death from Delta with 2 shots, AZ 92% effective vs Delta with 2 shots.

One dose about 17% less effective against symptomatic illness from Delta vs Alpha.

All the studies have different percentages, but 2 doses of either is over 90% effective, as above, and Moderna was recently claimed to be 93% effective at one dose. All these are against Delta.

That’s an interesting way to say if you make a 50 in U/19’s in NSW then you’re fast tracked into the best training and opposition in the world, but close enough.

Nuke them and that goes away.
