Can all the other states reopen with Covid raging through NSW.
And then when or if we ever get an answer to that, can the country reopen with Covid raging through the rest of the world.

All 6 went back to the lessors.
I believe a couple are already painted, retrofitted and flying again for different operators
Taiwan have announced they will lift all restrictions once they hit 60% one dose vaccinated
If a decision is made to gradually open up to fully vaxed Victorians then there also needs to be some allowance for those that have opted for AZ. If you get an AZ jab tomorrow you wonât be fully vaxed until almost December as it stands.
Hopefully they will narrow the window to the second jab to not punish those that chose AZ.
Iâd imagine when they open up to rest of the world theyâd use the systems in place back in the days. I.e. canât come from certain zones, have to check travel advice.
I donât think this is correct. Can you check your source for this?
I canât work out which message this was a reply to, but for those who are interested (you obviously know all this Ace), some airlines have no interest in conducting the heavy maintenance required so turn over their fleet at the point where theyâd need to conduct that servicing.
There are a whole lot of different lease/purchase type arrangements that airlines use depending on their business model and what they are trying to achieve as a business, and itâs very unlikely that an aircraft is introduced into service for (say) Qantas, and flies as a Qantas aircraft for its entire life, and then never flies again. At every stage there is value in the aircraft, even right down to the amount of scrap metal when itâs finally done, and at every stage there is someone trying to extract that value for their business.
Youâd think. But how successful has that been?
I donât think itâs correct either
I think they are looking at loosening done restrictions at 60%
it is indeed possible to get to zero.
But with NSW on the doorstep, itâs going to be tough to keep it there.
Any strain more contagious will be the dominant strain very soon.
ABC reporting another NSW +ve truckie came and went in SA, two low level exposure sites ( level 4, whatever that is)
Wouldnât have a clue as Iâve never followed virus outbreaks like this in years gone by. Hahahaha.
its hard to keep up with the big govt posting because last year it was basically just vic, now weâre copping it for NSW too.
You can see why our PM is angry with QLD.
The BP service station is a tier 2 site.
Metcash is tier 4 which means just monitor conditions and get tested if unwell
I donât know how theyâve done it, but they deserve serious credit for managing it so well.
Earned the right to say GFY to the Premier and Prime Minister of NSW.
