McGowan saying medical advice is do not mix vaccinations ( in AZ context) - 60yo+ who have had first AZ dose should not hold out for another vax for second dose
The risk aversion is a choice of the government, not the modellers.
QR codes at the vax centres (which take you to a survey you need to fill out saying you donât have symptoms etc arenât âservices victoriaââŚwhen I was there it was freaking people out, they saw a QR code, pointed the SV app at it and it didnât work and they didnât know what to do. And there was one guy there whoâs job was to see the green tick and give you a sticker, and who clearly didnât know what to do beyond checking the green tick
Itâs unfortunate. People expect the SV app to read all QR codes, so I suspect in all these places where they are used for things other than check ins people are getting confused
Bridget of ABC gets the heads up on likely date of ANNOUNCE from Dan while Rachel of Newscorpse canât weasel anything from James.
Apparently there are some degenerates our there running over the QR codes at playgrounds with permanent marker in my area
One playground nearby us had the QR code removed and trampled into the ground.
QR codes at Melb Central station have been defaced multiple times.
Not uncommon.
Good day to get â â â â â â jabbed!
yep - we can learn from those ahead of us to try and set the best processes
Victoriaâs new vaccination slogan.
Yeah I wasnât surprised, I just canât compute the thought process " oh youâd like to be notified if you may have been exposed to a potentially deadly disease? Not on my watch buddy!!"
Choppsuey swears like a sailor
Which tbh I think they might already be with the approach NSW is taking with only opening up certain things to fully vaxxed people and once certain levels of vax have been met.
I donât think other countries did this before lifting many restrictions and there have been crazy outbreaks around the world.
Although for the Dandenong vaccination centres, a more apt motto would be:
Good day to get â â â â â â â stabbed!
Heh, â â â â â â â someone off with inane questions for 90 minutes a day for 15 months results in them not leaking juicy info to youâŚ
too much to be â â â â â â honest.
Unfair that ABC Melbourne was able to send a journo to each presser, while Rachel, the Oz political journo for Victoria, doesnât have a Newscorpse assistant to help out.
Hunt says 28 rapid antigen tests approved in Oz, has asked TGA, then AHPPC, to fast track approvals in home and workplaces
- already being trialled in Aged Care.
Might explain why NSW dropped the RAT option for employers in regard to essential workers from bad LGAS
Brother in law got the you have been to a tier 1 site last night. His family need to isolate for 14 days. Fingers crossed they will be ok
