Covid 19 - Round 6 . The Winter Slog

So basically we just need to ride it out and wait for the viral equivalent of rain or it running out of fuel (humans).

FK THIS

Those dipshts who went skiing in Aspen and then careened all over the Mornington Peninsula earlier in the year still get to enjoy their privacy. Why the fk aren’t media posting their pictures all over the place and calling for them to have a metaphorical book thrown at them?

I don’t care what these two girls did. I’m sick of having two different sets of rules for everything.

Journalism is the easiest job in the world. All you have to do is sht on poor people and copy-paste IPA press releases and you’re done by 9:20am. Scum. All of them.

Because it’s 5 months later, 17mil worldwide cases and I have lost count how many deaths.

And people are still acting like morons.

And the media isn’t holding anyone but the easiest of targets to any kind of account. It’s disgraceful.

It’s the same in allied health where a lot of physios etc are sub-contractors but the “employee” dictates when and where they work.
Doing this then entitles the subbies to the same rights as though they were directly employed.

They should be doing more, no arguments from me there.

Do you honestly believe the 2 girls are poor?

Flights from Melbourne to Brisbane right now suggest otherwise…

You mean like Karen from Brighton?

They also had fake documents so it would suggest that they may be a part of something a little larger than “2 Broke Girls”.

I feel like this is where we’re at.

Apparently you can’t un-quote/reply once you’ve posted

Poor enough to not be deemed a litigation threat by any media outlet.

Lol. I’m sure that stopped the media defaming Geoffrey Rush.

She consented to being on the news.

Are people going to be completely honest about their movements in contract tracing interviews now that they might have their photos posted across several major news outlets?

Where it involves bringing the virus to a state with 0 active cases then yes.

It didn’t, but it cost them $3m to do so

You mean the ones who already weren’t being completely honest?

Of course 700+ in a day is bad news.

But that is what New York is down to now: 715 on 28 July.

If they can reduce it from 10,000 a day with all the special problems they have, then certainly Victoria can get back to low numbers again.

Edit: here is their graph:
