@Hoffy gave us all the goods on Sutton in her summaries. I think it’s only fair @bigallan does the same for Spurrier
I have to agree. Chadstone just looks overpriced and overcrowded to me. I can better understand those from smaller states spending time at the DFOs.
Essendon Fields DFO is the place to go.
I don’t like DFOs as the stock can be hit and miss.
I’ve always found Chadstone to be an adventure
The high end fashion labels at chadstone aren’t in SA. That’s the appeal. Anything at a DFO can be found anywhere
Not Tasmania apparently
Lol
There’s a special case… last time we were down there we went for a wander around the city and I was amazed how much it reminded me of Albury…
I think I’d rather go to the White House and start licking the door handles before I went to Chaddy.
Not because of the Covid risk, but just because it suuuuuuuuuuucks
OK so long as you stay in your lane, if you visit a red zone, you are banned.
Fair enough. I guess it’s more than just @theDJR that you’re more fashion forward than.
When I first moved to Melbourne, my sister had a job at the Pancake Parlour at Chadstone. At the time it was my go to place to watch a movie and say hi to my Sis over a choc/banana Swiss Mountain Malt. But then again, in those days, it was a fraction of the size and many of the shops weren’t open on a Sunday.
You and me both.
I’d rather shave my nether regions with a belt sander than venture anywhere near that infernal place. The one time Mrs B insisted I go there was well over 10 years ago and I lasted 5 minutes. Left her to aimlessly wander among the assembled throngs while I sat in the car listening to the footy (the infamous Fevola/Reynolds game), which did not help my mood at all…
I can assure you that I’d never voluntarily visit any places listed in the red zone. I was born at the hospital in Woodville but I don’t think I’ve been back since!
Place has changed a lot since then… it’s worse.
I’ve been going there at least once a year since 2003 and it’s been amazing to see the transformation over time.
It’s so much worse!
I went there in the first week in January to take the kids to some lego play centre that is there.
It’s is a monstrosity. I think it’s had two expansions since the last time I was there and its this absolute monument to capitalism now (even more so than it was already.) It felt disgustingly excessive to me
I hated it for that reason but if there were lots of people there I’d have the additional anxiety of not knowing whether I’d ever be able to find my way back to my car again!
Lol, oh no what do I ever believe in now that “Dr Mike” has been shown to be a hypocrite. These people

If you replaced all the fashion shops in chaddy with boutique tool shops all the middle aged male tools would spend hours wandering.
Chaddy is pretty far away for me.
So I always go to knifepoint…I mean…Highpoint.
Clocking off early to get some Black Friday shopping in and then heading to the pub!
Just ducked in on my lunch break. Straight in to the shop I wanted to get stuff at 40% off, bought, then straight out.
In terms of parking I just went straight to the roof instead of being a hero and risk driving around for ages trying to get a spot on the ground or lower levels
no guts no glory.
