Crameri has already decided to leave

If he goes to the dogs then the dogs are just being stpuid.

They don't need another mid-sized KPF who can run all day. They need a big body, 6'5" who can take a mark.

Its not that simple - Bulldogs need a forward that will attract the number one defender, so that their young forwards have less pressure.

If Crameri is leaving - he should be playing AFL and give us the best 8 games of his career.

Am a little worried about him.

A few mates who were at the VFL said he simply looked incredibly disinterested.

The fact they’re even playing him in the VFL says a bit I reckon. He’s been an auto selection for some time now.

Not good signs.

hold the ■■■■■■■ horses.

the same crameri that went from Bendigo 2s to afl? im doubting hes that ungrateful.

whos his manager? the type that would leverage a decent offer of another club as his man is coming out of contract, that's who.

hell stay.

end this charade.

oh thank god. Pessimistic speculation and worry.

There is also a rumour doing the rounds that you can sing and play guitar. Can't confirm it

I certainly cant sing lol

1.  Crameri is managed by Paul Connors who has a history of dragging this stuff out.
2.  Paul Connors also manages Scott Gumbleton

3.  There are a maximum of three spots for key forwards at a club

4.  We have Hurley, Gumbleton, Daniher and Crameri, plus competent forward/rucks in Bellchambers and Ryder

5.  Bulldogs and Carlton have already expressed interest in both players

6.  Connors has instructed his clients to wait until the investigation is complete before signing (smart management)

Join the dots...  Actually I'll do it for you.

Connors will use the interest in the two players to drive up Essendon's offers for both players.  Then he will recommend that one of them (Player A) leaves the club to take a bigger offer.  If that player accepts the other club's offer he will go back to the bombers and say that he knows that we've now got extra space in the cap and he will negotiate to try and get the lion's share of that for Player B.

IIRC, Fogdog said the same thing immediately Barrett 'broke' the news on the Footy Show, Cannot see Crameri leave, however can't say the same for GUMB.

No deal. Crameri is worth more than Yarran and Lucas.

especially to carlton

Can someone just put this to bed already? I highly doubt Crameri is going anywhere.

Trade Gumby, keep Crameri

Losing Crameri and Monfries in successive years would not be ideal.

Off topic, I know, but what probability is there that Monfries would kick 7 playing in the Bomber forward line ??

no offence to Crameri, but we need Joe to come on and come on quick. None of our other talls except perhaps Carslile can play forward.

The way our forward line is at the moment - you could have Franklin and Cloke in there and between them they wouldnt kick 7 - Invest in a fwd line coach

What's Darren Bewick doing at the moment?

Been thinking this is an urgent requirement for some time.

I'd be quite happy with Joe, Hurls, paddy/belly as the forward talls
Fark off the other two for some quality mids

Really? Hurls, paddy and to a lesser extent Bellcho have shown very little up forward. Combine that with Daniher's inexperience and immature physical attributes and i'd be very unhappy with the forward line you propose.

Incorrect.  I was at the game standing near the interchange box.  He was crook, often speaking with the Doctor.  Didn't start the 3rd quarter on the ground.

I would be looking at someone like a Blake Carracella, has done wonders with the geelong forward line

It wouldnt be a disaster if either of crameri or gumby left. One of them you would have to think will go. Lets just hope we get something for them!

I can see Daniher will come on strong next year.
