1. Crameri is managed by Paul Connors who has a history of dragging this stuff out.
2. Paul Connors also manages Scott Gumbleton
3. There are a maximum of three spots for key forwards at a club
4. We have Hurley, Gumbleton, Daniher and Crameri, plus competent forward/rucks in Bellchambers and Ryder
5. Bulldogs and Carlton have already expressed interest in both players
6. Connors has instructed his clients to wait until the investigation is complete before signing (smart management)
Join the dots... Actually I'll do it for you.
Connors will use the interest in the two players to drive up Essendon's offers for both players. Then he will recommend that one of them (Player A) leaves the club to take a bigger offer. If that player accepts the other club's offer he will go back to the bombers and say that he knows that we've now got extra space in the cap and he will negotiate to try and get the lion's share of that for Player B.

IIRC, Fogdog said the same thing immediately Barrett 'broke' the news on the Footy Show, Cannot see Crameri leave, however can't say the same for GUMB.
Off topic, I know, but what probability is there that Monfries would kick 7 playing in the Bomber forward line ??
The way our forward line is at the moment - you could have Franklin and Cloke in there and between them they wouldnt kick 7 - Invest in a fwd line coach

Been thinking this is an urgent requirement for some time.
I'd be quite happy with Joe, Hurls, paddy/belly as the forward talls
Fark off the other two for some quality mids
Really? Hurls, paddy and to a lesser extent Bellcho have shown very little up forward. Combine that with Daniher's inexperience and immature physical attributes and i'd be very unhappy with the forward line you propose.

Am a little worried about him.
A few mates who were at the VFL said he simply looked incredibly disinterested.
The fact they're even playing him in the VFL says a bit I reckon. He's been an auto selection for some time now.
Not good signs.
Incorrect. I was at the game standing near the interchange box. He was crook, often speaking with the Doctor. Didn't start the 3rd quarter on the ground.
