First change I’d make to the aussie “high performance” setup would be to have a specialist limited overs coach and a dedicated Test coach/manager.

we have had them tight and struggling, then Siddle comes on and throws down wides and poor length. So great to have him in the side again.

Another drop, Finch grasses a hot chance from Dhoni off the bowling of Stoinis. Now reviewing a very tight runout call from the aftermath of that play. Called not out, India require 25 from 17.
Stoinis over: dropped catch, missed run out.
Dropped catches, missed run outs, poor fielding, poor death bowling from Siddle and Stoinis.
It’s ridiculous how close it became and we choked.

At least there’s been a few lessons learnt from this series;
Khawaja, Lyon and Siddle should never play ODI’s again. Finch is on shaky ground and is mentally shot. Carey also seems to be massively overrated and has not delivered despite a good opportunity
Our game plan is seriously outdated and bewildering considering our dominance in the past and that 330+ will be required in the World Cup coming up. It reminds me of all the criticism England copped at the last World Cup when they had the same batting plan and they’ve done a great job of totally rejiggering their game
Richardson is a talent that needs to be groomed for a test role, has a lot of upside
Handscomb played surprisingly well and should consider giving him the gloves
