Cricket Part III

2-143

54 to win

Shame the Test Championship games couldn’t have started a month ago.

cruising

2/172

25 to win.

8 to go

and it is over

Sri Lanka is a much bigger surprise than the West Indies - SL playing away from home and on their third consecutive away tour.

That’s a huge win

First subcontinental to win a series in sth Africa, Saffas need to make some hard decisions re Steyn and Anla

Elgar, Bavuma would be on slightly shaky ground too.

And Philander gets the “old man injuries” a bit too.

The only ones who’ve been successful to any degree recently are de ■■■■, du Plessis, Markram, Olivier and both Rabada and Maharaj are probably safe too. They’d be wanting bring back that other young wuick, Ngidi, too.

Having a look at the Shield highlights, Wade has thrown his name up as the allrounder with an absolute peach of a wicket vs Sth australia

I would be shocked if Wade goes anywhere near selection.

You need to look up a replay of the wicket to see what I mean.

Gets a fair amount of out swing.
Though the ball did revel a long way in the air to get it

Well, that’s in the Ian Bothom mould of allroundership. Got an awful lot of wickets from utter garbage.

By the looks of that he wasn’t bowling fast enough to have that ball called a waist high no ball.

That rule has nothing to do with pace. At pace - means an official warning, slow pace - no warning. Two warnings and you’re off for the innings.

How many wicketkeepers do WA want to play? Bancroft, Whiteman, Inglis and Philippe.

It was slow as treacle but 138 no and carrying the bat from Bancroft v nsw on return was a fair effort
