The lack of working the ball around and looking for singles shows the kind of players we have in the system. Hard handed bludgeoners of the ball, either dot ball or boundary (or out). Even that back of a length ball about 6 inches outside off that batsmen of yesteryear used to squirt out to third man for a regulation single, they seem to have lost that art in doing that.

100% agree. I think we have selected too many of the players in our 50 over team based on their BBL form/ability. Not enough can construct an innings the way Faf and Miller did.
