Dumb Questions Amnesty

If you can afford it (I had a company paying) having someone pack your stuff, someone else move it, and someone else unpack it at the new place…is probably the most amazing experience you can do without raising a sweat.

They were all kind of the same price and it all comes down to the individuals doing the grunt work if you stuff is going to be treated well.

We have used Master Relocations in the SE suburbs for many years comprising 4 house moves, some of which were moving stuff into and out of Wilson storage facilities whilst renovations were being done. I would recommend them. They are not cheap; they are reasonably priced, but they are reliable, efficient, and put beds and large tables back together whilst onsite for you etc.

DM me and I will give you the name of the guy to contact.

The google photos app has a lot of sharing options too. Email, SMS, basically any way you can send a link.

Pop all the photos in one folder, share it, select recipients.

Phase 3: profit!

more profit for google. at least make them work for your data.

I’ve given up on being a private entity.

That’s not what this means…

As you have just disproven.

I have lived a long and painful life and today is the first time I have ever seen one:

Apologies for the ■■■■■■ resolution, I busted whatever hand it is that I take good photos with.

Ok, time for a really dumb question

Where tf is the apply button when you click on a rental property on realestate.com.au? I’ve signed up, set up a profile and for the life of me, cannot see a link to click. I’d have thought it would have been the biggest, boldest, flashiest link on the whole site.

It’s probably staring me straight in the face. Someone put me out of my misery.

Thanks all!

Had good experiences with Man With A Van

I’m moving stuff into our new attic, but I’d rather throw it out if I don’t need it again.

Do you guys keep your old football jumpers you wore?

I’m never going to wear them again, and my kids don’t play footy.

I wanted to keep an old flannel one from when I was a kid in the 80s, but didnt.

The rest I was going to donate but the people who it will go do are already doing it tough.

Artist has an unexpected hit. A track from an EP or a b-side.
They decide to put it on their new album, but they re-record it. Friggin’…why?

These Days - Powderfinger.
Labour of Love - Frente.

Just…why?
People fall in love with the original, and on the thing that’s non-scarce, you decide to fark it up.

But don’t you love 12 inch versions of tracks? :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

I very much do.
I love alternative versions. I don’t think you understand my complaint.

Do you understand how difficult it is to find the version of These Days that the country actually adored?
You have to have the b-side of a single, or the Two Hands soundtrack.

For Labour of Love, you have to have bought the CD only issue EP of Whirled!

For Great Wall, you actually have to own the single.

Do you listen to Cold Chisel?

Not as much as previously, and their debut album is a mystery to me, but yes.

Edit: are we going to talk about You’re 13?

What do you mean by that?

I rate it as their 2nd best album (after East).

can you send me a link.. I’ve tried to find it.

Simply what I said.
I think I’ve listened to it once.
Which is a lot less than Teenage Love, and Way less than You’re 13.

No judgement. I’m sure the fault is entirely mine.
