Third bid for Coutinho rejected, LFC less than impressed. Latest one is a guaranteed £80 Million with add-ons up to around £118 Million but some are so ludicrous they will never happen, like PC winning the Ballon d’or and Barca the Champions League in the same season, winning multiple CL, etc. Also the £80M paid in instalments over 5 years. Given they received the Neymar fee in one payment from PSG up front you’d think they’d at least be able to stump up the cash at once. What are Barca playing at?

They don’t have enough money and they are desperate simply put. They want Coutinho & Dembele, neither who are going to be under £100 Million, Messi is in decline, they have no depth and they just got smashed by Madrid over two legs.
They are about to become one of the others and don’t have the financial power they once had. Plus Neymar left them and it wasn’t all about money so their culture is a little ruptured.
I reckon Coutinho might change his mind to be honest.

They both are to be honest. Neymar carried them a lot last year. He was supposed to lead them for the next 5-10, PSG just broke Barcelona.
