Sounds like Chris Wood loaned to Forest is happening, pending medical. Clearly the Awoniyi injury is worrying us.
Our injury list is farking horrendous.
Awoniyi, Henderson, Lingard, KouyatĂ©, Boly, NiakhatĂ©, Biancone, Richards would all be in the Matchday squad and at least a few would be starting. But the biggest impact is on depth. At the moment, if we start with our best available, any substitution (perhaps with the exception of Surridge, who plays forward with a different structure) makes us definitively worse. The big clubs have bench players worth more than most of our starters. Itâs a bloody tough league.
More happily, I watched the Cooper pre-match presser and he had a little smile when asked about Daniloâs first couple of training runs. This kid, hopefully, settles in quickly.

Wouldâve been nicer to get a win, but coming from behind on opposition field to get a point is ok.
Midweek cup tie against Man U coming up next. Donât like our chances but weâre not always easy to play on our own pitch.
First time Iâve watched Liverpool live for a few months last night. What a woeful performance. Just no spark at all. Appears thatâs a slow rebuild is happening but midfield reinforcements are needed big time.
Two best teams in the league. Master v apprentice. Title on the line. The last fixture between the teams is currently scheduled with only 6 games remaining. Will be a massive game.

Edit: Zinchenko might just be the best buy of our last 15 years. His leadership and ability to come in to the middle has transformed this team.
