I know we kind of had to roll the dice, but there are probably 5 players tonight who clearly shouldn’t have played due to injury. McKernan, Hooker, Hurley, Stringer, Fantasia.

Can’t tackle can’t kick. The amount of times we were brushed aside in tackles was a joke. Kicking was not much better. My local team has better skills than this lot.

Missed tackles, lack of midfield and forward pressure and rubbish kicking.
That is not mentioning having to carry about 6 players who had no impact.
I did not expect to win, but the way they lost was poor.
Serious question. When the opposition have the ball coming out of defence they constantly spot up free players. When Essendon get the ball they have to continually kick to a contest or switch, unless it is this run and gun sling shot style. This has been happening for years. Is this because our game plan is poor, our players don’t work hard enough to provide an option or both?
