Isn’t that there problem? You can’t just go after a contracted player but then say you’re not willing to give up anything of value for him.

We couldn’t give a shizen about port’s plans for their draft picks. If they want a contracted player they cough up fair value or they fark off.
It’s called trading - it’s a simple idea.

There is always the option to include another club. Port want Alir Alir, get swans involved and swap some picks.

If power have 26, 31, 39, 51 and 53 in the draft, I’d be asking for 26 straight up, but I think we’d actually be lucky to even get 31 for him.

Fantasia has been pretty popular during his time at the club and has also been up front with them telling them years in advance he wants to go home at some stage.
Pretty sure we will be a bit sympathetic in this trade and it will get done.
I’d still be making Port cough up. Surely Dodo remembers how they screwed us with Ryder.

So many say port screwed us over in the Ryder trade. Didn’t we get a 1st and 2nd round pick. He did sweet FA while he was at port being injured constantly.
