Didn't realise this but Justin Crow (the guy that replaced Dean Robinson more or less) did a lot of work "off the books" with Collingwood while he was studying etc
Spoke to Marty Girvan (Weights co-ordinator at the Pies) and he says he's a good guy.
We also just bought about $50,000 worth of power racks and bumper plates to be installed in the next month or 2 on top of the platforms and power racks they bought in October for the new facility
He was with them for 2-3 years "on the books" wasn't he - before he came to us?
And played for them a few years before that, so not sure this is quite the juiciest of inside goss?
Never said it was inside or goss
Thought some people might be interested in what their membership money is going towards
And knowing the way Girvan/Crow operate it seems TRB still believe bigger is better, even after the departure of Robinson
Week in. Having a filthy protein drink upon waking up. Eating 4 eggs for breakfast. Switched fruit for green vegetables and eat two salads+chicken a day. Plus other yoghurt and stuff.
My dumps have never been more regular in both consistency and timing.

PROTEIN.
That's not protein doing that. That's fibre. Aint no fibre in your protein options.
I am of course, aware of that. But bro's don't bro out about fibre.
YO FIBRE
And you don't need that much protein in that short a time. You are just wasting half of it.
ps: if you want protein shakes and you don't compete and want good results, the only choice is HP100. Not cheap though. And contains Andruska unfriendly peptides.

But she's not sure if they are or not. And won't confirm it either whey.
Question for the pros: I’m measuring effort on aerobic activity by wearing a heart rate monitor. For the last 3 weeks I’ve dropped about 100 calories expended per 40 minute basketball game; from 900 down to about 700. Time in each HR zone is about the same.
Would that be a byproduct of improved fitness and/or my weight loss (I’m carrying about 10 kilos less baggage than when I started measuring HR)?
Yep, that's pretty much it in a nutshell. There might be other factors at work and more scientific explanations (and probably better versed people than me on here) but you definitely burn more energy the more you weigh especially in weight bearing activity. Additionally, as you get fitter you can complete the same physical output with less effort (ie. less energy expenditure) which would also reduce the calories burnt.

I've lost 10kg now and haven't been at this weight since my early 20's. Looking to put on muscle now so joined a gym.
Can anyone here advise on creatine? Good ? Bad? Take when and how much?

Both.
a) your cardio system's running better & b) your muscles are doing less work to carry less of you around.
Guess you could try and nail down exactly how much each part is contributing by carrying around 10kg of weights next time you play...
