I know it’s nothing new besides tsatas injury return being pushed out even further, but it’s seriously concerning how much footy our top picks have missed due to covid + injury.
Geez he’s a big unit.
Moves well, has he ever touched a football?
For a lot of players, Essendon isn’t a footy club, it’s a rehab centre.
Yeah. It’s a bit sad to think “what if” Reid & Cox hadn’t had injuries, had played on the weekend, and been as equally as impressive for 3rd year players in their positions as Perkins was in his.
I appreciate that there is a risk after 2 ACLs and that we would do all we can to minimise that.
On the other hand, he is missing so much footy through his youth (3yrs now out of 4) that it has to have some impact on his development. Ability is one thing, but you have to actually play and practice what you want to do and see what works for you etc etc. He is going to be playing catch up in a big way when he does resume.
PS If it is true that Elijah has also done his knee, then the outlook for Alwyn is a big concern, given that his dad did one, and his brothers have done 3 between them.
He will then break down again after some contact training drills
Not holding my breath with this kid nothing but injury prone
I reckon he will be the greatest player of all
time.
So perhaps we meet in the middle?
Don’t meet in the middle. You’ll be right for sure
im pretty sure stewart has never moved from the injury list since he called luke darcy “moons”
Is Cox making any progress, looks to now be behind Reid.
Wasn’t Cox 3-5 a week ago? Now 4-6
Gotta be gentle with your Cox.
Probably have benchmarking before he moves to the next stage, which he didn’t meet
Coleman is playing tomorrow night and Gardiner is a chance to play VFL.
Year after year these a$sholes have a near clean bill of health.
Did I read somewhere we have hired/poached one of their ex-fitness advisors to review or audit our injury and rehab program?
Hopefully getting some decent IP.
Yeah Peter Blanch
Hobbs injury? Anyone know what?
